3D printed product care — SOL
This is a general guide. Follow each product's specific instructions and warnings. SOL uses Bambu Lab materials selected for the piece and its intended use. Bambu Lab PLA Pure is our selected material for the toy range. Filament properties or testing alone do not certify a finished product. There is no universal maximum temperature for every material and printed object.
Heat and fire
Unless expressly rated for high temperatures, keep decorative objects away from radiators, hobs, ovens, hot water and hot cars. Do not microwave or put them in a dishwasher. Never place burning candles, charcoal or incense directly on or inside them. Observe each product's stated limits.
Outdoors, sunlight and moisture
Use outdoors only products expressly described as suitable. Otherwise, decorative items are for indoor use, away from prolonged sunlight, rain, frost and persistent moisture. Normal exposure within promised outdoor conditions does not remove statutory protection.
Vases, water and food
A vase or bowl shape does not establish watertightness or food suitability. Use dry flowers or a separate water-safe insert only where the product instructions allow. Do not use for drinking water, food or pet food without an express, documented intended use.
Cleaning and handling
Where compatible, wipe decorative items gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry. Avoid solvents, acetone, abrasives and strong disinfectants unless compatibility is confirmed. Do not boil, heat-sterilise or soak unless permitted. Avoid drops, impacts, twisting and force on thin parts. Decorative pieces are not load-bearing supports, protective equipment or safety components. For supporting products, follow the stated load and mounting instructions.
Children and pets
Decorations are not toys. Do not give them to children for play; keep them out of reach where small parts, edges or breakage pose a risk. Actual toys require their own age guidance and safety instructions, which this guide does not replace. Pet accessories are not automatically chew toys or restraint systems. Do not use as a lead, harness or safety component without an express intended use. Stop use if cracks, loose parts or ingestible fragments appear.
Problems
Stop using any potentially unsafe piece. Do not attempt to reshape it using heat before contacting us. Keep parts safely and email contact@xeotype.com. This guide does not remove statutory conformity rights or SOL's product safety obligations.
